Disclaimer: All our buckets and barrels are food grade, but they have been previously used for a food product. They are typically rinsed, but we recommend our customers sanitize them before using them for potable water or food storage. Also, we do not accept returns on buckets and barrels, as we cannot sell them as food grade to another customer once they have left our possession.

BARREL INFORMATION

All our Barrels & Buckets are food grade.
They are used. (Typically only once)
We only sell food grade barrels and buckets.
Our barrels and buckets are typically rinsed out. Either by the factory, wholesaler, or us. They however have NOT been sanitized.
We recommend you clean/sanitize your barrels/buckets to YOUR comfort level. Rinsing does not always remove everything, and during storage mold, mildew, etc., can occur.
Inspect barrels and buckets before purchase!

Due to the fact we sell them as “Food grade”, we cannot accept returns or exchanges on barrels or buckets

Most will have a residual smell of what was in them. With cleaning and airing out, much of the smell may go away. But there is no guarantee it will go away completely.
Examples of products that commonly come in our containers:
- Tomatoes/vegetables
- Soda syrups/flavoring
- Fruit puree/juice
- Almond Butter
- Wine/alcohol
- Vitamins/herbs/etc. (all for human consumption)
- And other human food products.
